Talkdesk won for second consecutive year the BIG Innovation Award, presented by the Business Intelligence Group. Talkdesk is recognized for Talkdesk iQ native artificial intelligence (AI) that is infused throughout the Talkdesk Enterprise Cloud Contact Center platform. Talkdesk iQ powers Talkdesk apps with automation, insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and agent productivity.
Companies from across the globe submitted their recent innovations for consideration in the BIG Innovation Awards. A group of business leaders and executives then judged nominations. “We are thrilled to be honoring Talkdesk as they are leading by example and making real progress on improving the daily lives of so many people”, said Maria Jimenez, chief operating officer of the Business Intelligence Group.
The company created by Cristina Fonseca and Tiago Paiva, both Técnico alumni, has revolutionized the area of software development for “contact centers”. Created in 2011, Talkdesk has been setting the standard for cloud innovation with 200 new patents pending, submitted in just 100 days. Over 1,800 innovative enterprises around the world including IBM, Acxion, Discovery Education and Peloton, rely on Talkdesk to power their customer interactions. On 3rd October 2018, Talkdesk raised $100 million while being valued at over $1,2 billion.
