Técnico alumnus is among TAtech’s TOP 100 Most Influential Talent Acquisition Thought Leaders 2021

For the second consecutive time this year, Pedro Oliveira stands out in the human resources field.

The Técnico alumnus and co-founder of Landing.jobs Pedro Oliveira stands out once again in an international list – the TAtech’s TOP 100 Most Influential Talent Acquisition Thought Leaders 2021.

Pedro Oliveira is the only Portuguese included in the list and appears alongside other leaders, such as: Chris Hyams, CEO of Indeed, Corey Hurwitz, co-founder and CEO of CarrersinGovernment.com, and Howard Bates, CEO of WorkHere, among others.

“Each, in their own way, is making an important contribution to such mission-critical areas as improving the effectiveness and efficiency of recruiting operations, forging productive and mutually beneficial relationships with hiring managers, identifying and implementing state-of-the-art talent acquisition tools, educating corporate leaders on the essential business role played by talent acquisition and to continuously optimizing the candidate experience”, the TATech website says.

For the second time this year, Pedro Oliveira stands out in an international list. The first time took place in January, when his name was included in the HR Weekly list of top 100 HR influencers 2021.

After graduating in Computer Engineering at Técnico, the alumnus started as an entrepreneur with Ooops Booking, which ended up not being very successful, but allowed him to gain knowledge for the next adventure: JobBox, which was created together with José Paiva. JobBox became Landing Jobs after a rebranding strategy process.

Landing.jobs, which is part of the IST Spin Off Community, offers a job search service for Information Technology professionals, matching companies and employees with the most appropriate profile, through a transparent hiring process. In 2020, the company raised €2 million in series A funding – the first major investment round – and launched Future.Works, which has helped Portuguese candidates and other foreign candidates to search and apply for opportunities in the market.

Recently, Pedro Oliveira announced the creation of Talent Protocol, a new project that aims to train hidden talents around the world and improve their careers.
