The Técnico alumnus and co-founder of Landing.jobs, Pedro Oliveira, is one of the 100 most influential people in human resources, according to HR Weekly, a weekly international HR newsletter.

Pedro Oliveira appears alongside other HR experts, such as: Meghan Biro, founder and CEO of TalentCulture World of Work Community, Steve Browne, author of the books “HR on Purpose: Developing Deliberate People Passion” and “HR Rising!! From Ownership to Leadership”, and Lolly Daskal, president and founder of Lead from Within.

“These 100 experts are the most influential people in the HR space. They are all helping build, design, and promote HR strategies to new heights”, as the text that precedes the list says.

Pedro Oliveira graduated in Computer Engineering at Técnico. He started as an entrepreneur with Ooops Booking, which ended up not being very successful, but allowed him to gain knowledge for the next adventure: JobBox, which was created together with José Paiva. JobBox becomes Landing Jobs after a rebranding strategy process.

Landing.jobs, which is part of the IST Spin Off Community, offers a job search service for Information Technology professionals, matching companies and employees with the most appropriate profile, through a transparent hiring process. Last year, the company raised €2 million in series A funding – the first major investment round – and launched Future.Works, which has helped Portuguese candidates and other foreign candidates to search and apply for opportunities in the market.

In 2017, the Técnico alumnus was one of the guest speakers of the first edition of Alumni E. Stories.
