Following previous ceremonies, another 5 Técnico professors were inducted into new career categories. The event took place at Técnico – alameda campus and was attended by the President of Técnico, professor Rogério Colaço, Vice-president of the Scientific Council (CC), professor Rodrigo Rodrigues, President of the Pedagogical Council (CP), professor Raquel Aires Barros, and Heads of some IST departments.
The president of Técnico congratulated the inducted professors and stressed “in the last two years Técnico opened 64 call for tenders in teaching and research career categories. It’s a very significant effort. I am sure we are going to give our best as we have done for almost 110 years”.
Professor Rodrigo Rodrigues congratulated and wished Técnico professors much success.
The president of the CP expressed her pride in such a strong female representation, namely among the group of inducted professors. Professor Raquel Aires Barros wished Técnico professors luck and much success: “I hope that you continue to contribute actively to the future of Técnico. We are counting on you in 2021”.
