Instituto Superior Técnico and the Lisbon Rotary Club signed the Lisbon Rotary Club Scholarship Protocol on 10 December, in the Main Building’s Meeting Room.
“We have always cherished this project and promoted its development”, said Cristina David, Director of Academic Services at Técnico, who considered the Lisbon Rotary Club “a true partner”.
The project manager on behalf of the Lisbon Rotary Club, Carina Caldeira, said it was “an honour and a privilege to be a partner of Técnico and to renew the agreement with this institution”.
The president of the Lisbon Rotary Club for the year 2025/2026 closed the meeting by recalling the Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self”.
Last year, members of the Lisbon Rotary Club met with 15 Técnico undergraduate students supported with this scholarship.
The Lisbon Rotary Club Scholarship is one of over 20 scholarships to support undergraduate and master’s students at Técnico.
