According to data released by the Directorate General for Higher Education (DGES) this Sunday, September 26, the Aerospace Engineering course at Técnico is, for the third consecutive year, the course with the highest grade of the last student admitted at national level (190,5) – 1st phase of the national competition for access to public higher education (CNAES 2021/2022).
In addition to Aerospace Engineering, the Engineering Physics course is once again in the “top 5”, with the last student admitted scoring 189.5.
The course with the second highest grade of the last student admitted is the Medicine course at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar – University of Porto (190,3), followed by the Industrial Engineering and Management course at the University of Porto (189,8).

o Biomedical Engineering – 183,5
o Civil Engineering – 140,8;
o Materials Engineering- 163,0;
o Mining Engineering and Energy Resources – 128,3;

o Electrical and Computer Engineering – 165,5;
o Information Systems and Computer Engineering (Alameda) – 174,0;
o Mechanical Engineering – 180,3;
o Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering – 166,3;
o Chemical Engineering – 168,5;
o Applied Mathematics and Computation – 184,5;
o Telecommunications and Informatics Engineering – 147,3;
o Industrial Engineering and Management – 175,5;
o Electronics Engineering – 153,5;
o Information Systems and Computer Engineering (Taguspark) – 165,0.
In total, 1649 new students were admitted at Técnico, of which 60,08% got their first choice course .
