This is why the CEO at The Navigator Company decided that the company should join Técnico’s Partner Network.

Técnico Partner Network continues to grow. The Navigator Company joined the list of companies that are part of this network. The protocol was signed this Monday, October 23, by the the president of Instituto Superior Técnico, professor Arlindo Oliveira and by the CEO and a member of the Executive Board of the company, engineer Diogo da Silveira and engineer João Paulo Oliveira, respectively.

“Building solid and lasting business relationships” is essential to make Técnico “a school increasingly oriented towards society”, noted professor Arlindo Oliveira.

Engineer Diogo da Silveira informed the audience that “a significant investment in research will be made by the company” and that Técnico will be part of this process, which “will give joint research a new lease”. Social responsibility also plays a relevant role in this partnership, as explained by the CEO: “We should concern about social responsibility, so it is very important for us to support the most needy students”. “Top professionals should work together”, he said.

Engineer João Paulo Oliveira informed that the company is also committed “to develop a new market in the field of industry 4.0, where Técnico has distinct competences”.
