Vodafone joined Técnico Partner Network this Wednesday, 5th June. The protocol was signed by the president of Técnico, professor Arlindo Oliveira, and the Chief Technology Officer at Vodafone, engineer João Nascimento.
“Técnico has been establishing privileged, deep and stable partnerships with a set of companies and today Vodafone will join our Partner Network”, said the president of Técnico. “It is a great honour and pleasure to be here today and to sign this protocol. Thank you for recognising the value of Técnico”, added the professor.
Engineer João Nascimento shared his experience as a former Técnico student and said “this partnership will promote a close link between Vodafone and Técnico”. According to the CTO at Vodafone, one of the most important pillars of this partnership is Vodafone 5G Hub – the innovation center to boost the mobile network of the future in Portugal. “We are very excited about this partnership and we hope it will be fruitful so that we can keep creating joint projects”, pointed out engineer João Nascimento.
Professor Luís Caldas de Oliveira, vice-president of Técnico for entrepreneurship and corporate relations, shared information about this partnership. A MSc scholarship and a merit prize will be created under this partnership. Vodafone will participate in the next edition of Técnico JobShop.
