The welcome session for the international students who joined Técnico this semester took place this Friday.

The session was attended by professor Luís Miguel Silveira, vice-president of Técnico for International Affairs and by members of NMCI – The Mobility and International Cooperation Office, NAPE – Student Support Unit, AEIST – Students’ Union at Instituto Superior Técnico, ELL – Erasmus Life Lisboa and PSP – Polícia de Segurança Pública.

“A warm welcome to you all”, began to say professor Luís Miguel Silveira. “Técnico has a vibrant learning and research environment, and you will witness that. So, we hope to see you again in the coming years: attending a new cycle of studies, a PhD or just for a visit.”

Rodrigo do Ó, president of AEIST, noted that “This is your home, if only by six months. Welcome to Portugal, welcome to Lisbon, welcome to Técnico.”
