The Técnico Library (BIST) will host a webinar on 30 October 2024, from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., titled “Ethics and academic integrity for first-cycle students”.
This training session has the following objectives:
- Discuss the concept of academic fraud
- Explore the concept of ethics in learning and knowledge acquisition processes
- Understand the relationship between copyright and plagiarism
- Identify some factors that inhibit academic fraud
- Present the Universidade de Lisboa’s Code of Conduct
- Raise awareness among participants about the importance of ethical behaviour in decision-making
Although this event is primarily addressed to 1st cycle students, participation is open to anyone interested. The webinar will be held in Portuguese.
Participation is free of charge but registration is required. The Zoom meeting ID will be sent by email to registered participants.»
