The ‘Patron-funded Scholarships’ are supported by over 20 patrons, with applications open from 5 to 28 September.
These scholarships are available to undergraduate and master’s students at Técnico, with specific conditions varying by each scholarship. Additional information and regulations regarding each scholarship can be found on the Academic Development Office (NDA) webpage, which is accessible exclusively to members of the School.
In the 2024/2025 academic year, Técnico awarded scholarships to 156 students, totaling nearly €260,000. These scholarships are awarded based on students’ academic potential and socioeconomic conditions, and may be monetary, educational, or accommodation-based.
The results will be announced by November 8, pending confirmation from the patrons.
In addition to those scholarships managed by the NDA, other services and entities at Técnico also offer scholarships, such as the Feedzai Women in Science Scholarships and the TagEnergy Women in Energy Scholarships (promoted by the Technology Transfer Division).
