The Welcome Session InnoEnergy Masters took place this Friday, 6th September, and brought together about 70 students from different countries who had the opportunity to attend several presentation sessions and to get more information about Técnico.

Rita Paleta, Digital Education Manager at InnoEnergy and also Técnico alumna welcomed and praised the students, and presented the team that will closely follow the students throughout their journey.

Professor Luís Miguel Silveira, Vice-president of Técnico for International Affairs, stressed that the three main pillars of these Programmes – knowledge, innovation and link to the business world – are unique. The Vice-president also highlighted Técnico’ s intensive research activity and the success of several startups created by Técnico alumni. “The number of international students who choose Técnico have been increasing year after year and this is something that makes us very proud. You bring new ideas, new challenges and new cultures”, he said.

Throughout the morning the students were briefed on course details and procedures. The afternoon was devoted to review the Master’s study plans.
