The Welcome Session InnoEnergy Masters hosted today, September 8, around 50 students who chose to study at Técnico within KIC InnoEnergy Master’s programme. Visibly thrilled by the new stage that it is about to begin, the students attended several presentations that gave them important guidelines for the coming months.

Andreia Fernandes, Manager at InnoEnergy Portugal, began her speech by stressing “the luck” of these students who will study at Técnico. During the session, Andreia Fernandes presented the team that will monitor and assist the students and highlighted the importance of the energy sector. “Energy has an impact on our lives, on the lives of your colleagues and on everyone’s life, remember that”, she pointed out.

Professor Luís Miguel Silveira, Vice-president for International Affairs made a brief presentation of Técnico. The importance of Técnico on the international scene, the curricular diversity offered by the school and the massive research activity carried out at Técnico were some of the topics addressed by the Vice-president. “Técnico has a lot to offer you and we are very proud that you are here today. I hope you enjoy this semester”, he said.

The event finished with a campus tour.
