The BPI Awards ceremony for Student Groups took place this Thursday, within CA2ECTécnico – Extracurricular Activities Competition for Student Groups at Instituto Superior Técnico, 2016/17 edition.
Professor Arlindo Oliveira, president of Técnico, thanked BPI for the long term relationship with Técnico, which “has allowed to promote such events”. “Students’ activities are very important and contribute to promote the image of Técnico across borders”, said the professor.
According to Dr. José Pena Amaral, Executive Director at BPI, “this is a prestigious award to those who receive it and also to BPI itself”.
Professor Raquel Aires-Barros, president of the Pedagogic Council, also attended the ceremony, noting that the initiatives carried out by Student Groups “enrich students’ curriculum”. “BPI’s contribution is very important to our students and for Técnico.”
Projects distinguished in this BPI Awards edition :
• EBEC Lisboa 2017 (BEST Lisboa), 1000 euros;
• VI MecanIST (Fórum Mecânica/NEMIST), 1000 euros;
• Business Booster (NEEGI), 1000 euros;
• Celebration of TMIST’s 10th Anniversary, 1000 euros.
